Fall Read-Alouds

It's a little late to be posting about the books we read last fall, but I think I'll appreciate being able to look back and see what we read. So here's our list!

From the Thornton Burgess Animal Stories series:

Munchies

A recent yummy variation on our date nut snacks. We made these chocolate-cherry flavored, and added a dash of vanilla.

And these teriyaki almonds are ready to go into the dehydrator for some crisping. These are a slightly sweet and spicy treat, and hard to stop eating.

Naomi - 6 months

This sweet girl is six months old today. We're loving her many smiles and giggles.

No teeth yet, though I can feel the changes in her gums. Although I'm laughing a bit at the coincidence that Millie lost a tooth on the day Naomi was born...and she lost another tooth today.

And this boy? Well, he's just a busy, funny kid (eating a snack here). And a very loving big brother.
