I planted quite a few morning glories, most of which turned out to be shades of purple and pink. I'd been watching this one climb the fence for several weeks before I got to see what a lovely shade of blue it turned out to be.

Summer Odds and Ends
There's been so much going on around here, a lot of which makes it onto the camera, but then doesn't get shared beyond that. A sampling:

The morning after Millie's birthday, she and Silas set out completely on their own to have a morning picnic. They did every bit of getting themselves dressed and setting it all up, complete with leftover chocolate chip pancakes and juice boxes.
I was so amused by this little "horned" tomato that we got from our garden. Funny little thing. We're enjoying quite a few full-sized tomatoes these days. And in the background that's my spiffy new cutting board from Ikea. Another lovely blue color.
We're gearing up to get started with homeschooling next week. And it's also all about camping these days, as we did an overnight with friends over the weekend, then we're off again for another camping trip this coming weekend. Have to enjoy the summer while it lasts!
